Professional characteristics

She completed her studies in teaching pedagogy and psychology in 2009 at PF UMB. As a doctoral student at the Department of Pedagogy, she was a member of the Academic Senate. In 2010, she successfully completed a rigorous continuation and received the title of PaedDr. He has been working at the Department of Pedagogy since the academic year 2012/2013. He lectures and leads seminars in bachelor's and master's degree programs, as well as in supplementary pedagogical studies.

It focuses on teaching General Pedagogy, Didactics, Methodology of play and entertainment, Creation and organization of leisure activities, History of pedagogy, Basics of animation, Didactics of pedagogy, Sociology of education, Sociology of education and social pathology, Philosophical, social and pedagogical starting points of education, Methodology of hobby activities and Methodology of leisure activities and also participates in the pedagogical practice of students. He also conducts seminars and lectures within the common basis for student teachers at the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Natural Sciences. In the supplementary pedagogical study, it focuses on teaching the subjects Basics of Pedagogy and Alternative Pedagogical Concepts, as well as Basics of Animation.

In scientific research he focuses on the field of didactics, specifically the position of teachers and students in teaching, motivation of students, the use of methods and activating methods and didactic principles.

As part of his pedagogical activities, he leads and opposes bachelor's and master's theses. She is also a member of state commissions at both levels of education at the Faculty of Education and Philosophy, as well as at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the MBU.

In 2014, she participated in the ERASMUS mobility program at the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague, Department of Pedagogy.

He participates in lifelong learning and in expanding his own qualifications in order to expand his professional competencies. In 2013, as part of further (lifelong) education implemented by the Center for Lifelong Learning at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, she also completed education in the Statistics in Social Sciences program (2013), this year she also successfully completed the "University Pedagogy" program for university teachers.

He presents the results of his scientific research work in professional journals, proceedings and professional publications. He also actively participates in scientific conferences and professional seminars in Slovakia and abroad. In 2014, she published a monograph entitled The Pupil and His Position in the Teaching Process. In 2016, she co-published textbooks Philosophical, Social and Pedagogical Aspects of Education, and in 2020 she participated in the creation of textbooks entitled Sociology of Education and Social Pathology.

Since 2019, she has also been the secretary of the Association of Social Educators.
