Professional characteristics

 

Didactic of music art and coordinator of the schedule at the Department of Music Culture, Faculty of Education, MBU in Banská Bystrica with undergraduate studies in the field of teacher of music art and history. Working as a university teacher at Department of Music Culture of Faculty of Education MBU, specializing in didactics of music art, music aesthetics, music history and instrumental music. In the field of music history, he specializes in selected chapters in the history of early Slovak music and their reconstruction into a sounding form. He is active as a performer, composer and editor in the field of classical music and folklorism, where he processes musical material for the purpose of its presentation, he deals with selected specifics of Slovak folklore in research activities. He is the artistic director and conductor of the University Chamber Orchestra Mladosť and the editor-in-chief of the magazine Múzy v škole (Muses in school).

Member of the organizing committee of the Akademická Banská Bystrica (Academic Banská Bystrica) festival of university and high school choirs.

Member of the organizing committee of the international symposium on choral singing Cantus Choralis Slovaca.
