Professional characteristics
Lipárová Lenka, Mgr., PhD. has been working at the Faculty of Education of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica since the 2013/2014 academic year. Within the Bachelor’s degree programme in Pre-primary and Primary Education, she teaches the courses Foundations of Art Education and Art Activities. At the university level, she also offers and teaches elective courses Ceramics and Creation with Natural Materials and Children’s Camp in Practice, which focus on linking creative artistic activities with the practical pedagogical training of students in the context of art-oriented clubs and educational programmes for children.
She is the initiator and organizer of the summer camp Children’s Plein Air, which has been held annually at the Faculty of Education since 2015. As part of her teaching and professional activities, she collaborates with various institutions in the preparation and implementation of art workshops.
Her research focuses on visual communication in childhood, the development and support of children’s artistic talent, and non-formal education in the field of art education.
She graduated in Teacher Training in General Education Subjects with a specialization in Art Education and French Language from the Faculty of Humanities in Banská Bystrica. She completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Education in the field of Pre-primary and Primary Education, with a focus on art education. She has also gained international professional experience in France, where she organized extracurricular art workshops for the public across different age groups.
