Professional characteristics

She has been working at the Faculty of Education of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica since 2002 as an internal doctoral student and since 2004 as an assistant professor. In 2005 she completed the rigorous continuation by defending her rigorous thesis. She completed her doctoral studies in 2007 by defending her dissertation. She has conducted a number of bachelor and master theses mainly in the fields of psychology, psychology teaching and pre-school elementary pedagogy, focusing on the areas of mental health of pupils and teachers, life meaningfulness and life satisfaction in teachers, health professionals, as well as stress management in the professions of teacher and health professional.  She has been a member of state examination committees for bachelor and master studies in psychology and psychology teaching. She participated in two internships within the ERAZMUS project - at the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. She was the chair of the organizing committee of several international scientific conferences. She co-organised several seminars in the field of school psychology - Current Issues in School Psychology. In the framework of further education she graduated: Management and Leadership Skills Course, College Pedagogy Course, Transactional Analysis Course. She has also completed several short courses such as Zippy's Buddies, Apple Buddies, Communication Box, Family Board, Children's Drawing and others.In 2018, she completed her specialisation studies in school psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts in Bratislava. In her pedagogical activity, she is mainly engaged in lectures in general psychology and personality psychology. She also gives lectures and seminars on social psychology, health psychology and creativity in several study programmes. He has long been involved in research on human personality (especially personality traits, performance motivation, survival, values and well-being) in the spheres of educational, occupational and health psychology. Currently, most of his publishing activity is oriented on the issues of teacher-leader, his competences, personality prerequisites for his effectiveness and creativity of the leader. She has been the principal investigator of a project (UGA 1), deputy responsible investigator (VEGA 1), co-investigator (VEGA 5) and coordinated the work of several author teams on outputs (6). She is responsible for the management of the KPs sub-library, she is the chair of the review committee of the Association of School Psychology, a member of the APS committee, a member of the committees at the PF UMB (the committee for studies, the scholarship committee, the committee for publication, project and artistic activities).She serves as the departmental coordinator of MOODLE and coordinator of the schedule of the joint pedagogical-psychological and social-scientific foundation and is also engaged in psychological counseling in UPPC.She is the author of 5 scientific monographs, co-author of 3 university textbooks, more than 60 scientific studies published in foreign and national journals, scientific and conference proceedings and other professional publications. She has 136 references to these outputs, of which 31 are registered in citation indexes.
