Professional characteristics

She has been working at the Faculty of Education of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia since 2002. She started as a full-timedoctoral student and since 2004 she has been an assistant professor at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Education, MBU. She finished her PhD. studies in 2007 by defending the dissertation thesis. She has supervised a number of bachelor's and master's degree theses, mainly in the study fields of psychology, teaching psychology and preschool elementary pedagogy, focusing on individual´s and teacher´s mental health life meaningfulness and life satisfaction of teachers, health professionals as well as business management and healthcare professionals. She has been a member in the state exam committee for bachelor's and master's degree thesis defense in the fields of psychology and psychology teaching and training. She has participated in two internships within the ERAZMUS project - at the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. She has chaired the organizing committee of several international scientific conferences. She participated in co-organizing of several seminars in the field of School Psychology - Current Issues in School Psychology. As part of her further education, she completed a course aimed at management and several short-term courses such as Zippy's Friends, Friends of Apple, Communication Box, Family Board, Children's Drawing and others. In 2018, she graduated in the specialized study field of School Psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy of Comenius University in Bratislava. In her pedagogical activities, she focuses mainly on lectures from general psychology and personality psychology. She also conducts lectures and seminars from social psychology, health and creativity psychology in various study programs. She has been engaged in the research of human personality (especially personality traits, performance motivation, experience, values ​​and well-being) in the field of educational, work and health psychology for a long time. Currently, most of her publishing activities have been focused on the issues of a teacher leader, his/her competencies, personal predispositions, effectiveness and creativity. She has been the project principal researcher (UGA 1), the deputy of a principal researcher (VEGA 1), the co-researcher (VEGA 5) and coordinated the work of several author teams on the outputs (6).She is responsible for the management of the Department of Psychology, sublibrary, chairwoman, part of audit committee of the Association of School Psychology, member of the ASP committee, member of several committees at Faculty of Education of MBU (study committee, scholarship committee, committee for publishing, project and artistic activities committee). She works as the department coordinator of MOODLE and the schedule coordinator of the pedagogical-psychological and social-scientific basis for teacher training study programs. She is the author of 5 scientific monographs, the co-author of 3 university textbooks and over 60 scientific studies published in foreign and local journals, and other scientific and conference proceedings and professional publications. 104 citations have been recorded to her publications, of which 22 are registered in citation indices.
