Professional characteristics
She has been working at the Faculty of Education of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica since 2003. In their scientific research, pedagogical and publishing activities, they focus on basic leisure problems, education for marriage and parenthood, and innovation in education and training and professional experience. In 2007 she received a PhD in Pedagogy.
As part of further education, she completed several courses and trainings, and participated in several internships abroad. She has worked in 7 Slovak projects / once as the main researcher / and 3 foreign projects. She is the author and co-author of several scientific monographs, university teachers and teaching texts, scientific studies published in Slovak and foreign journals, scientific and conference proceedings and other professional publications (see publishing activities). It records 162 responses to these outputs, of which 5 are registered in citation indices and 50 abroad.
She is an expert in the field of leisure pedagogy and education for marriage and parenthood and its participation in formal and non-formal education. In practice, she also works as a teacher in the field of education for marriage and parenthood (for pupils, teachers, parents) and a service learning. She participated in the preparation of various documents (eg Report on the needs of children and youth in Banská Bystrica, 2017; Education and training of children and youth to volunteer in schools and school facilities through the learning service, 2018).
Since 2013, she has been part of the team that implements strategic service learning at UMB. In 2015, as a member of the author's team, she received the UMB Rector's Award for the university textbook Service learning. Innovative learning strategy. She is a member of the Slovak Society for Planned Parenthood (SSPR), a member of the Volunteer Center.
During her practice, she participated in the organization of several conferences, professional seminars and events, within which she also had the opportunity to develop her organizational skills, the ability to cooperate with representatives of schools, school facilities.
