Professional characteristics

Lenka Duricova, PhD. has been working at Matej Bel University since 2000 (including doctoral studies in Educational Psychology). As an assistant professor, she was a member of the Department of Psychology and Andragogy at Faculty of Humanities, Matej Bel University and since 2008 the Department of Psychology at Faculty of Education, Matej Bel University. In addition to the study fields of psychology and teaching psychology, she also participates in other study programs, e.g. pre-primary and primary education and upbringing and education of children, youth and adults. For many years she has been working as a coordinator of schedule creation and the website of the Department of Psychology. Currently she is a member of the Association of School Psychology. In her pedagogical activities, besides the basic psychological sciences, general and developmental psychology, she focuses on applied disciplines, family psychology and management psychology. In 2013, she completed a teacher mobility internship within the Erasmus program at the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague. In scientific research and publishing activities, she has long been monitoring the issue of adolescents' self-concept, its sources and personal connections. In the past she was a co-researcher of 3 successful VEGA projects, one KEGA project and currently she is a member of the APVV research team (see Projects). She is the co-author of 2 scientific monographs, 5 university textbooks and scripts and 34 scientific studies published in foreign and local journals, scientific and conference proceedings. 60 citations have been recorded to her publications, of which 14 are registered in citation indexes.
