Professional characteristics
She has been working at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Science, MBU in BanskáBystrica since 2006 as an assistant professor. In 2005, she defended a rigorous work focused on the psychological analysis of social interactions of people of the third age. The dissertation was successfully defended in August 2013 in the field of Educational, School and Counseling Psychology at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra, Faculty of Social Sciences and Healthcare entitled "Targeted development of empathy in undergraduate teacher training". She has led a number of bachelor's and master's theses, mainly in the fields of study psychology, psychology teaching and preschool elementary pedagogy with a focus on experiential learning, development of prosocial and empathic behavior, but also risky behavior in primary and secondary school students and teachers, support of residency in the school environment. She was a member of the commissions for state examinations in bachelor's and master's studies in the study fields of psychology teaching and preschool and elementary pedagogy. She participated in two internships within the ERAZMUS project - at the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. As part of further education, she completed courses focused on the development of communication skills, prosocial and empathic behavior, as well as the application of projective methods and several preventive and intervention programs in school practice in the work of a school psychologist, e.g. The second step, Zippy's friends, Friends Apples, Communication box, Family board, Children's drawing and others. In r. In 2018 she completed a specialized study of school psychology at FFUK Bratislava. In his pedagogical activities, he focuses on educational and social psychology, as well as facilitating trainings focused on effective communication and the development of assertiveness in several study programs. He has long been involved in research on empathy and prosocial behavior in students and teachers and in verifying the effectiveness of intervention programs aimed at promoting resilience. She is a co-author of methodological manuals for primary school teachers focused on the development of prosocial behavior. He currently focuses his publishing activities on the issue of researching media literacy among university students. As a member of the research team, she was involved in solving scientific research tasks in several projects: "Quality of life - do current university students aspire to a quality life?" (VEGA No. 1/07/07/89); "Emotional and social aspects of aggression at a young school age in the context of a modern school" (VEGA 1/0099/15, project representative); A child on the threshold of education and his world (VEGA 1/0598/15); "Didactic tools facilitating the implementation of selected cross-cutting themes in the teaching of ethical education at the second stage of primary school" (APPV-14-0176), "Research and development of reading of young school pupils" (VEGA 1/0455/18), "The influence of electronic media on behavior and developing the cross-cutting capabilities of Generation Z ”(VEGA 1/0396/20 She is the department coordinator of ŠVOUČ, a member of the Association of School Psychologists, a member of a professional team providing counseling services to UMB students, the head of the DofE development program at UMB BB. She also works as a school psychologist at the Primary School, Ulica P. Jilemnického 1813/1, Zvolen (a large number of pupils from socially disadvantaged backgrounds and pupils with learning difficulties), where she facilitates the development of resilience within early circles for younger and older school-age pupils.
