The symposium (not only) on choral singing Cantus Choralis Slovaca has been held since 1994, every even year alternating with the Cantus Choralis symposium, organized by the Depaartment of Music Education of the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. It is focused on Slovak and world musical and choral creation, music composers, conductors, choirs, as well as significant figures in artistic and pedagogical life and institutions supporting the development of choral singing, art, pedagogy and didactics of art. The symposium is a platform for experts from the fields of art, culture and education to meet in order to share their experiences and present the results of their creative and scientific activities.
This year is dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of the Banská Bystrica composer Ján Cikker.
On this occasion, we will be honored with their presence and contributions about Ján Cikker:

On 10.11.26, a concert of Múzy škôl (School Muses) will be held, where the Representative Artistic Ensembles Mladosť and guests will be presented. The aim of the symposium is to present current scientific and artistic outputs and trends in artistic education and general education, also with a focus on choral singing and literature. Thematic areas of the conference:
1. Choral and musical creation. Personalities, works, institutions, anniversaries in the national and world context.
2. Art education. Retrospective and perspective.
3. Pedagogy, didactics and methodology of art education.
